Tacoma School District, meeting session to address the specific needs of the district. Result: due to the flexibility of the McDowell-Craig factory we came up with a stacking student desk with optional removable under desk storage bin and 2 in-line wheels to allow for reconfiguration in the classroom promoting collaboration and flexibility.

Once we arrived the school was behind construction schedule. We revised our plan for install and due to the school ordering 440 stacker desks (which a classroom of 32 only take up the space of a 4×8 sheet of plywood) we were able to stage the entire schools student desks in 2 classrooms then came back in 2 weeks to install when the school was back on track.
